Marlee Grinstead

Choosing the University of Rio Grande was an easy decision for me because of its family atmosphere, strong academics, and competitive athletic programs. As a student-athlete, I’ve been able to successfully balance school and athletics thanks to the constant support from my coaches and professors. Through Rio’s education program, I’ve gained real classroom experience that has prepared me for my future, while also competing at a high level on the court. My senior year was especially unforgettable, as our team made history with a conference championship and the opportunity to host the national tournament. Beyond the wins, Rio has given me lifelong friendships, a strong sense of community, and the chance to grow both personally and professionally.
