LPN-to-RN Home Health Pathway

Those interested in a career in Home Health can get up to 100% of their tuition covered through our partnership with the Center for Community Based Care, the Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice, and the Ohio Department of Higher Education.

Train for a meaningful, in-demand healthcare career at Rio and provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes. Home Health Nurses help patients recover, manage health conditions, and live independently.

Students must meet eligibility requirements for Rio’s nursing program, be enrolled in an LPN to RN degree seeking program, and work for 18 months with a partnered Home Health Agency upon program completion.

Hybrid LPN-to-RN Program

Our Hybrid LPN-to-RN program is our most popular option, designed for working nurses who need flexibility. The coursework is fully online, allowing students to continue working while advancing their education.

Traditional RN Program

Our Traditional Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is student-athlete-friendly, with summers off and general education courses completed early in the program to support academic success and balance demanding schedules.

Accelerated LPN-to-RN Program

For students seeking an accelerated route, our full-time LPN-to-RN program can be completed in just one year, providing a streamlined transition to RN practice.

BSN Program

Our BSN program can typically be completed in as little as three semesters, offering a faster pathway to a bachelor’s degree compared to many programs that require two or more years.
