Teri Geiger, a native of Jackson Ohio, has been appointed to the University of Rio Grande Board of Trustees. Geiger currently serves as the Chief of Staff to Congressman Troy Balderson. Previously, she served as the state director for U.S. Senator Rob Portman, Chief of Staff for the majority caucus in the Ohio Senate, and the Director of Government Relations for Ohio University. Also, she currently serves on the board of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio. Geiger officially began her tenure serving on the university’s board of trustees at the February 25th board meeting.
