Personalize a 4x8 Brick
Your custom 4x8 brick will forever be displayed around the Bell Tower, located right in the heart of our campus! You may choose to buy a brick for yourself, your child or commemorate your favorite Rio Professor or friend. The possibilities are endless.
Bricks will be installed twice annually around the bell tower, one of the most photographed locations on campus, before Homecoming Weekend and again at Spring Graduation. In addition to ordering your personalized brick, you can choose to purchase a custom certificate to gift to a loved one or to purchase a mini brick as a keepsake.
Name a Bell Tower Bench
Perhaps you have fond memories of sunny days in the quad at Rio. Consider naming a concrete bench located around the bell tower. This is a popular gift option for those wishing to have their own special place on campus. Benches provide places for faculty, staff, students and visitors to enjoy campus or meet informally, and are an important aspect to the overall landscape at Rio.
A personalized plaque commemorating your gift is a functional way to have your generosity acknowledged and enjoyed for years. Choose your phrase using 3 lines of 18 characters. A permanent metal plaque will be affixed to the bench for all to see.
Sponsor a Planter
Decorative planters are located in front of the bell tower, providing lush landscape as a center point for the stately bell tower. A true focal point of our campus beautification efforts, the decorative planter allows the campus to fully bloom from season to season.
A gift of a decorative planter ensures the beauty of Rio continues on. Our talented maintenance and grounds team will be responsible for the upkeep of your planter. As a thank you for your gift, a personalized plaque with 3 lines of 15 characters will be affixed to your planter.
Sponsor a Windowsill
The beautiful, custom stained-glass windows adorning the bell tower area memorable sight indeed. Each of the windows represents a rich history at Rio. Making a gift to name one of our six windowsills shows that you believe in the future of Rio Grande. Your gift will be used to invest in the maintenance of the Bell Tower for decades to come. As a thank you for your gift, you will receive a permanently affixed plaque on the windowsill of the stained-glass window.
