Rio Grande, Ohio – The University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College and the Gallia-Vinton Educational Service Center (ESC) will cohost the annual Southern Ohio District 14 Science Day Saturday, March 23 at the Lyne Center on the university’s main campus. Students in 5th through 12th grades from Gallia, Lawrence, Pike, and Scioto counties who competed in their local science fair and qualified for the district science fair will participate in the event.
The science projects will be on exhibition from 11:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23 after judging. The awards ceremony will follow at 1 p.m. The exhibition portion of the day will be free and open to the public.
