Job Opportunities

The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College invites applications for part-time (adjunct) faculty positions in Biology. Instructors could teach Principles of Biology and/or Principles of Anatomy and Physiology at any of the campus locations (Rio Grande, Pomeroy, Jackson, or McArthur Ohio.) Fall semester classes begin August 19, 2019.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a master’s degree in the discipline or at least 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework relevant to the discipline. Prior teaching experience preferred.

Adjunct faculty are considered part-time employees and limited to 12 instructional load hours per semester or 20 instructional load hours per academic year (excluding summer). Adjuncts are paid $500 per instructional load (credit) hour.
