The development of skills in writing, aural recognition, and performance of intervals, scales, rhythms, melodies, and harmonies through sight singing, drills, and dictation. Basic interval and rhythmic identification, and major and minor triads are emphasized. Two-hour class, one-hour lab. Prerequisite: MUS 10703 or by permission of the instructor. To be taken concurrently with MUS 12103
