Welsh Language Classes

Fall 2024: Entry Level 1

These classes are suitable for those interested in the Welsh language with little or no knowledge of Cymraeg (Welsh) at all. This is a great follow-up from our previously offered Taster short course. The course uses the National Center for Learning Welsh resources, and textbooks will be available to purchase. A free PDF version will be shared with all registrants. The course is 16 weeks long, with each class lasting 90 minutes. Homework will be set weekly. Entry Level 2 is planned for Spring 2025.

Cost: $165 for 16 weeks

Live classes will be on Tuesdays (Commencing Tuesday, September 3, 2024):

In-person- 5:30 pm-7 pm, University of Rio Grande (Exact location will be shared following registration)

Zoom- 7:30 pm-9 pm EST / 6:30 pm-8 pm CST / 5:30 pm-7 pm MST / 4:30 pm-6 pm PST

Given the nature of the classes, they will not be recorded.
