Kosnich finishes 12th at NAIA meet

GULF SHORES, Ala.  University of Rio Grande freshman Nate Kosnich posted a 12th place finish in the preliminary round of the men's 110-meter hurdles at the 63rd Annual NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on May 23 at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium.

Kosnich, a native of Pickerington, Ohio, crossed the line in a time of 14.84, bettering the finish of nine other competitors in the event.

However, only the top eight times advanced to Saturday's finals.

Kosnich, who was named Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year, was Rio Grande's only participant in the national meet.
