Services and Testing Policy

Upon acceptance to the University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College, and prior to registering for classes, all full-time and/or degree-seeking undergraduate students without sufficient ACT sub-scores are required to take placement exams in Algebra and/or Reading.

Part-time students may be required to test depending upon their desired coursework.

Students participating in the College Credit Plus (CCP) Program are also subject to this policy.
