How to run an effective whole-class writing workshop/critique

| Description: | This will be a hands-on workshop where participants will come in and hit the ground running. We will move through a mock-workshop—an example of what a writing workshop could look like at the start of the course. We will discuss ways to organize and facilitate this workshop using online file-sharing software (Blackboard, PBWorks, Ning, GoogleDocs, etc.). Handouts will be provided to help guide your responding during workshop, and these materials can be tailored for use in your classes, if you choose. |
