The Student Services Division is here to provide you with an enjoyable and educational experience during your time on campus. Residential life is a unique opportunity for personal growth and development, new friendships, and great experiences.
As a NEW STUDENT, you must first apply for admission to Rio Grande and complete the enrollment process. Upon completion of the enrollment process you will be given access to the Room Reservation and Residence Hall Agreement forms on-line.
RETURNING STUDENTS must complete a Returning Student Room Reservation form each semester. These forms can be obtained from the Student Services Office (Rhodes Student Center) or from your current Student Life Coordinator and/or Resident Assistant. Completed forms must be turned into the Student Services Office in order to be processed for the following semester.
Due to the fact residential housing is limited; rooms are available on a “first come, first served” basis. A $200.00 non-refundable pre-payment must be returned with the Room Reservation Form to guarantee a room. Checks may be made out to: University of Rio Grande.

Once completed housing paperwork is received, the information will be entered and confirmation will be sent to the email address you listed on your form.
Rooming assignments will be emailed to first year students during the last full week of July. Returning students will be notified through their RIO email account during the same week.
All students are encouraged to join the RIO Facebook page to interact with other students, find roommates and meet other residents in your hall.
