School of Health & Behavioral Sciences

The School of Health & Behavioral Sciences offers various programs to prepare students for Allied Health careers including sports and fitness as well as Behavioral Sciences careers.  All of our programs are very high demanding programs at the University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College.  You can view all of the School of Health & Behavioral Sciences on our Certificates, Programs & Degrees page.

The School of Health & Behavioral Sciences is home to fourteen (14) full-time faculty members, several part-time faculty members and two (2) secretaries.  All of our faculty members and staff work hard to provide the best teaching experience possible for their students.  We believe that, all things considered, the quality of faculty is the most important factor in any Health & Behavioral Sciences program.  We are very fortunate to have dedicated faculty with superior academic credentials.  Most of our faculty members came to the teaching profession after many years of work experience in the area of which they teach.  Our faculty remains in their positions because teaching allows for personal and professional enrichments, and the satisfaction of passing knowledge and skills on the next generation of Health & Behavioral Sciences professionals.
