Internship Information

The Emerson E. Evans School of Business requires an experiential learning project of all graduates.  Undergraduates are required to participate in a 100 hour internship with a local business in their individual field of study.  Graduate MBA students are required to participate in an advanced entrepreneurial project, designed to benefit local business.

Undergraduate Internship
Business Students who have completed at least 9 semester hours of upper level 300 or 400 level coursework are eligible to participate.  The internship is a class and you must be registered for the class at the time of the internship.  For more details, please e-mail Jason for details jwinters@rio.edu

 

MBA Experiential Learning Projects
Graduate MBA students are required to complete an advanced 100 hour project that will assist local small businesses.  Each project is unique and tailored to the student’s strengths and the community’s needs.  Many of these projects are custom designed by the Director of the Center for Small Business Entrepreneurship and Business Development Specialist from the Ohio State University South Centers.
