The University of Rio Grande's RIO SENSE (Software Engineering for National Security Enterprise) is a Bachelor of Computer Science degree designed to train students to solve some of our country's most difficult problems in national security and intelligence. RIO SENSE provides students with real-world skills they need to succeed in a rapidly growing industry. Students will be mentored by experts in military intelligence as they master leading edge methods & technologies such as:
RIO SENSE students will also have the opportunity to gain real-world experience through summer internships with with local companies and organizations.
The RIO SENSE program is designed for students interested in or already in the process of pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Software Development/Engineering. The program is best suited for students who are mathematically skilled, problem solvers, technology early adopters, critical thinkers, self-organizers, and team players.
Students interested in RIO SENSE may apply through the Rio Grande web site www.rio.edu/admissions. Please submit the application for admission, high school transcripts, and transcripts for other colleges you may have attended. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.
