Banquets

 

 

ANNUAL ST. DAVID'S DAY BANQUET

The annual St. David's Day banquet will be held on Saturday, March 6th at 6 PM at the Presbyterian Church in Oak Hill, Ohio. An evening of Welsh fun is being planned with entertainment by the local Red Brush Band. Tickets are $20 per person. We encourage you to bring your family to the banquet so tickets for students and children are $10!

15TH ANNUAL HISTORY DAY

The annual District 9 History Day competition will be held at the University of Rio Grande on Saturday, March 6th in Bob Evans Faem Hall. Doors open at 7:30AM for registration and breakfast and lunch will be available.

The Madog Center for Welsh Studies sponsors a $100 prize for the best project with a Welsh theme that coincides with the 2010 theme "Innovation in History: Impact and Change."

 

 OAK HILL CHAMBER AWARDS ANNOUNCED

Congratulations to Evan Davis and Mildred Bangert for being among the 2010 Oak Hill Chamber of Commerce honorees. the award of "Citizen of the Year" will be presented to Evan and "Meritious Service Award" goes to Mildred. The banquet is being held on Saturday, January 30th at 6PM in the Oak Hill High School cafetorium. For tickets contact 740-682-7057. The Madog Center for Welsh Studies congratulates both Evan and Mildred for their outstanding work!
